Meet The Team
Kevin Bell: Director
Construction has always been in Kevin’s life, his Dad a bricky and father-in -law a builder. Kevin and his wife Heather took to housing early in their marriage, renovating several of their family homes, then progressing to building new, then adding investment homes to the mix when finances allowed – always designing and project managing themselves. When Kevin finally joined the housing industry himself more than 30 years ago he began as a salesman for group housing companies. Later starting his own business, Grafraell. Kevin’s son Grayson joined the business several years ago – “it’s great to have a successor for our family-owned business” as Kevin looks to retirement over the coming years.
Over time, Grafraell has grown, from building a few spec houses a year, to home and income properties, now onto larger multi-unit developments totaling some 60 to 80 homes annually across both Hamilton and Rotorua.
Grafraell take pride in our homes, whether its first home buyers or investors growing their business, the finished product has the same quality. Grafraell have used the same subcontractors for many years ensuring a tight knit team and consistent quality.
In his spare time Kevin enjoys time walking and cycling with his wife, relaxing at the beach, and enjoying the local food scene whist traveling.
Grayson Bell: Director
Grayson takes pride in sharing his knowledge and experience pairing homeowners, investors & government agencies with quality homes that achieve their property goals.
The ultimate joy for us is when we see our clients and their tenants housing dreams come to reality. Being part of an owner’s story who’ve sent their kids through university or created themselves a passive income for retirement off the back of investing in one of our homes is something we are very proud of. Equally, seeing difference quality housing makes in a tenant’s life and the pride taken when moving into their new home is priceless.
Grafraell, although a small family business, has been operating in Hamilton for over 20 years and Rotorua more recently. We take pride in each of the 60 – 80 homes we build every year and the relationships we form with their owners along the way.
Outside the business Grayson loves spending time on the boating, experiencing new cultures while traveling and spending time with family and friends.
